What to Bring

New #1: fitted and flat bed sheets will be provided in extra long twin size, along with a standard pillow case, but other linens will NOT be provided. Linens have become a significant expense. This change allows us to avoid increasing the cost of registration.

You must bring your own:

  • Blanket for sleeping
  • Pillow for sleeping
  • Bath towel for bathing

New #2: In an effort to be more environmentally responsible hippies, we will not be providing bottled water this year. However, water is plentifully available from fountains and taps in all of the locations we will use at Central State. Therefore, we suggest bringing a reusable water bottle.

New #3: 60s apparel and accessories for our selfie booth! Dig those tie dye shirts, love beads, and headbands emblazoned with peace signs out of storage and bring them along.

Therefore, we have added the above to the list of items that are often forgotten or may make your visit more comfortable:

  • 60s apparel and accessories
  • Alarm clock
  • Bath floor mat
  • Bath towel
  • Blanket for sleeping
  • Bottle for carrying around water
  • Clothes for hot, cool, or rainy weather
  • Clothes hangers
  • Cup or mug to carry beverages around
  • Flip-flops for shower
  • Garbage bag (e.g. a plastic grocery bag)
  • Hand towel
  • Hat
  • Keurig K-cups (original style) to use in our machines
  • Laundry soap, softener, and quarters if you wish to use the dorm machines
  • Money for Monday night dinner
  • Nightlight or lamp, flashlight, or book light to keep by the bed
  • Pillow for sleeping
  • Robe or wrap, for using the shared apartment bathrooms
  • Sleep mask, in case of a street light outside your bedroom window
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Sweater or jacket for cold rooms
  • Tissues
  • Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc.)
  • Umbrella, poncho, or raincoat
  • Utensils, if you wish to cook or eat in the dorm kitchen
  • Walking shoes
  • White Elephant Bingo gift (for the optional game, should be unusual or odd; please wrap first)
